Mid Semester Crits

UBERSCHALL Students will be critting today (25.08.09) from 1pm - 5pm on the Level 4 Studio.

Students must present:

• One completed Digital Fabrication model
• Pin-ups describing an intended proposal/use for the model and its construction principles
• Completed 30 second recordings of each of the sites assigned your group for the "REC" assignment
• North, South, East and West elevation photos of each of the sites
• Completed written site descriptions

The guest critics for today are Nick Sayes (www.nicksayes.com) and Sajeevkanth Ruthramoorthy.

I will be handing out the next "Artist Research" assignment once the crits have been completed.

Garage Band Tutorial

I will be giving a Garage Band tutorial today (Monday 24.08.09) from 1pm.

It will be focused on using EQ's and effects to manipulate the volume and pitch of your audio files.

Digi-Fab Exercise Extention

The Digi-Fab exercise submission has been been pushed back to Monday 17.08.2009.

Students are required to present their working drawings/cut patterns drawings as A3's for this submission.

Note: design 6 students: the work presented for this exercise will be used for the "detail" assignment for your ARCHTECH paper. As such, it is very important that you present all relevant working drawings.
